Hermit Studio is housed at Hermit House, in the countryside outside Copenhagen, Denmark. We are a small studio whose focus is on Web development. We are native English speakers, coming originally from the UK and America, so we also offer English proof reading services for your web copy or documentation.

After many years developing in PHP, Drupal and WordPress, we are now expanding into the following: ASP.NET, C#, Umbraco, jQuery, HTML5, Mobile Web Development, and Responsive Design. We are looking for small projects to build up our portfolio in these skills.

For more details on what we can do visit our Consulting and Clients pages.

We are also content creators and produce Written Works, Photography, and other Projects.

  1. I found you through looking for info and reviews about Squarespace 6 and just read your review of their system 6 commerce solution. Thanks for an enlightening review. I couldn’t help but notice your comment on their not supporting European currencies, and the mention of your living in Denmark. That one bugged me too for the same reason. 🙂

      Hi Lise,

I’m glad you liked the Squarespace review. The restriction on currency was a shame as it is a rather nifty system otherwise. I take it you’re in Europe too?

  2. Practically neighbors! Must admit I was pleasantly surprised to discover the author of the review was female. Not a lot of ladies I run into doing this kind of work. Wouldn’t mind touching base with you as I am looking for some programming knowledge.. you have my email.. could you drop me a note?
